After running a handyman errand, I stopped by the Taqueria Jalisco Mexican food truck. I love its convenient location because it’s next to a bus stop and next to a grocery mart. The menu has a variety of foods to choose from and plenty of seating to enjoy the throughly cooked food that is made from freshly prepared ingredients. I can’t wait to go back and order more taco platters.

Eat lunch here regularly. It’s good but sort of inconsistent. They do not have anything spicy. I asked for the hottest sauce, they gave me habanero but it was more like water and not spicy at all. If you want spicy, make sure to get a couple grilled jalapeños on the side. Horchata is good too.

This place is legit because their portions are consistent and the prices are not too bad. The food is good, I ordered me a pastor burrito and it came with grilled onions/jalapeño. When you order for here, they hand you two bottles of salsa so you can consume as much as you like. Most places nowadays are very stingy with their salsas.

Grew up outside of LA and am very picky about Mexican food. Portland Mex is subpar at most places but gd Jalisco has the best burrito I’ve had in the 10 years I’ve live here

Seriously, one of the best taquerias in Portland. I came in for 99¢ tacos on a Tuesday and have been coming back regularly. The couple behind the kitchen are sweet, sincere and very friendly. But seriously, it’s all about the tacos. And these guys have perfected the Mexican taco experience for me in Portland.
